Value and Overview
Boise State University is one of the over 1000 Universities in the united states but is no slouch when it comes to quality education which is why EducationUSA, an arm of the Department of States is in hand.
Boise State’s GEM Scholarship is one of many scholarships offered by the school and this is valued at $15,000 per academic year. This award is renewable for up to four years (8 semesters) as long as you maintain the records.
This scholarship award is available to both first-year and transfer applicants. The GEM scholarship is an automatic award. If you meet the minimum requirements and have all application materials submitted before the scholarship deadline, you are automatically awarded the GEM Scholarship. Simple.
The GEM Scholarship requires a minimum 3.90 cumulative unweighted high school GPA (on a 4.00 scale). You can use the WES to estimate what your GPA is before submission but the school will do the calculation to deem who is fit. Click here to check your GPA for free.
Transfer students must have a minimum 3.75 cumulative GPA in order to be eligible for the GEM Scholarship (on a 4.00 scale). If your current school does not use the 4.0 scale, then you will have to also do a conversion to the 4.0 scale. Click here to check
